Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park Mini Session
I always forget how fortunate I am to be able to travel to different parts of the country. Living in the PNW, it's easy to get tired of the constant gloomy and rainy days. I traveled down to Naples, FL to visit a dear friend and also had the opportunity to hold a mini session for a beautiful family.
This mini session was held at Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park and believe it or not, it was very windy and chilly. To be honest, I was a bit worried however, the family showed up and braved the cold temperatures. Now if you're outside of Florida, you will laugh at the thought of being "cold" in 70 degrees. However, it's very rare for it to be 70 degrees AND windy during this time of the year, or during any time of the year, for that matter in the Southwest region of Florida.
This location was absolutely perfect for this mini family session. The driftwood, clusters of tall grass, the fine white sand, and the water gave so many different sceneries, it was so hard not to extend it into a full session.
Granted it was windy, but the wind provided so much movement and emotions to the images. Scroll through and you'll see what I mean!
I hope I have more opportunities to travel to Florida and other parts of the country as I really enjoy meeting new people and learning a bit about their lives. I am extremely appreciative they chose me out of all the talented creatives in SWFL.
